I know, huh??? ROFL making it was weird too, you make the insert then turn your work and start crocheting the other way to make the outside of the head LOL it's all one piece! It seems to me, the more japanese amigurumi patterns I learn/make, the more I think they make things a little more difficult in some ways... but then at the same time, some things "work" better as well, like the attached tunic skirt part. It was weird to crochet too.
The head alone is creepy...but I love it!!
